This is a solid XO from rande champagne that checks a lot of my boxes. Leans into oak and dried fruit, which I like. Nothing flashy, just well put together and steady.

Solid VS for everyday use. Not my preferred level of complexity, but honestly, it gets the basics right. This is a safe bet for the boardroom or casual pour after work.

Aroma

Opens up with a little vanilla and toasted bread. There's a faint floral hint if you look for it. Pretty straightforward, nothing off-putting.

Taste

Vanilla stands out, balanced by some light almond and muscat grape. The oak is there but not overdone, which I appreciate. Simple and easy to sip, don't expect much depth though.

Finish

Finish is short and leans more on the wood than I'd like. Fades fast but leaves a touch of sweetness behind.
