Solid VS for everyday use. Not my preferred level of complexity, but honestly, it gets the basics right. This is a safe bet for the boardroom or casual pour after work.
Aroma
Opens up with a little vanilla and toasted bread. There's a faint floral hint if you look for it. Pretty straightforward, nothing off-putting.
Taste
Vanilla stands out, balanced by some light almond and muscat grape. The oak is there but not overdone, which I appreciate. Simple and easy to sip, don't expect much depth though.
Finish
Finish is short and leans more on the wood than I'd like. Fades fast but leaves a touch of sweetness behind.

Hennessy V.S is the kind of cognac that doesn't take itself too seriously, and I mean that as a compliment. It’s bold, sweet-ish and very easy to get into. Nothing wildly complex here, but it's still great. I’d drink it with cola and a stupid amount of ice – classy? Absolutely not. Good? Yeah 😎
Aroma
The first thing I get is toasted bread and almonds. Then some light grape notes pop up, making it smell pretty cozy. Nothing too fancy here, ir js smells nice.
Taste
It’s smooth and kinda creamy, with vanilla coming in pretty quick. The almond and toasted notes give it a warm little kick.
Finish
The finish is fresh and slightly floral, with a little vanilla hanging around. It’s not super long, though.
