VSOP cognacs are considered by many to be the entry point to quality cognacs; Paul Giraud VSOP is no exception. Significantly older than the legal minimum, our VSOP expresses all the exuberance of a Grande Champagne, against the backdrop of the promise of the finest cognac terroir.
The mingled aromas of flowers and fruit are very pronounced, almost exuberant. On the floral side, there are hints of wild white flowers, and on the fruit side, stone fruits harvested in summer.
A tangy touch of citrus, perhaps even pink grapefruit, lends it a balance between vibrancy and freshness.
The sweet notes are reminiscent of acacia honey.
