Norway was under prohibition from 1916 to 1926, making it difficult for our company’sfounder, Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, to carry out his business in his home country.
Throughout this period alcohol could only be purchased from pharmacies, Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen had the genius idea of replacing the traditional Three Stars with Three RedCrosses, which are still present on the labels today, but in white.
TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of vanilla from Limousine oak, then those of citrus fruits and spices
The taste is subtle and fruity with a long and fresh finish.
This blend is the successful marriage of powerful young eaux-de-vie with a more mature cognac.
