Audry is what you pull out when you want to show your friends you know way more about brandy than whatever is flashing on nightclub billboards. This Réserve Spéciale is an artisanal Fine Champagne blend aged roughly 25 to 30 years, and it is built strictly for slow, patient contemplation. Keep the ice, cola, and cocktail shakers far away from this bottle drowning spirits this old in mixers is practically a crime against French heritage.
Aroma
It takes a few minutes in the glass to wake up, so don't rush it. Once it breathes, you are treated to an intensely floral and nutty wave with roasted almonds, nougat, dried orange peel, and fresh apricots. Behind the sweet fruit sits vintage oak, a whisper of cedar cigar box, and soft vanilla bean, smelling pleasantly like an antique wooden library filled with dried flowers.
Taste
The mouthfeel is noticeably creamy, buttery, and gentle without any of that sharp, aggressive spirit sting found in younger bottles. You get deep layers of rich honey, sweet caramel, and stewed stone fruits, which quickly pivot into drier, refined flavors like black tea, cinnamon, and toasted walnuts. The wood here is extremely old and polished, tasting velvety and integrated rather than tannic or overly bitter.
Finish
Long, warming, and remarkably elegant, fading out with lingering toasted hazelnuts, mild baking spices, and a faint pinch of rancio leather. It stays with you for several minutes, gently drying your palate and practically demanding you take another tiny, measured sip.

I really enjoyed the Audry Réserve Spéciale. It’s got a warmth that feels perfect for cozy evenings. Definitely a keeper for my collection.
Aroma
The aroma hits with sweet notes of vanilla and honey, and there's a subtle citrus twist that I find really pleasant. It’s definitely inviting, like a hug in a glass.
Taste
On the palate, it’s smooth and rich, with caramel and dried fruits taking the lead. There's an oak presence too, but it doesn’t overwhelm just enough to add some depth, you know?
Finish
The finish lingers nicely, leaving hints of honey and just a touch of oak. It’s not super long, but I like how it wraps up the experience without any harshness.
