Audry Cognac, officially known as A. Edmond Audry & Cie, was established in 1878 by Auguste Edmond Audry in the Cognac region of France. His vision was to produce cognacs of exceptional quality, a goal that quickly garnered the house a reputation for excellence both domestically and internationally.

In the early 1950s, Audry ceased its commercial operations, choosing to preserve its valuable stocks of aged eaux-de-vie with the hope of a future revival. This aspiration was realized in 1978 when Bernard Boisson, the great-great-grandson of the founder and a Parisian lawyer, resurrected the family estate. Under his leadership, Audry Cognac resumed production, blending the meticulously preserved ancient reserves with select eaux-de-vie sourced from esteemed Charentais growers.

The house specializes in crafting cognacs from the Grande and Petite Champagne crus, renowned for their superior quality. Audry's offerings include distinguished expressions such as the Napoléon, XO, and Réserve Spéciale, each reflecting the brand's commitment to tradition and excellence. The aging process takes place in French oak barrels, allowing the eaux-de-vie to develop complexity and depth over time.
