On the nose, a strong and long aroma, full of “rancio,” appears first. Then spicy hints of cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, and wooden cigar boxes come to the fore.
The palate first detects the finesse and mellowness that the presence of many Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie gives to this cognac.
It is long in the mouth. The taste buds recognize vanilla notes with aromas coming from Limousin oak casks. Eventually, spicy aromas of ginger, cinnamon, and cloves, as well as fruity smoothness, appear.
Also available in an Elios decanter.
