Paul Beau Cognac

Paul Beau Cognac is a distinguished family-owned house renowned for producing exceptional Grande Champagne cognacs. Established in 1900, the estate is located in Segonzac, the heart of the Grande Champagne cru, within the Cognac region of France. The Beau family's legacy in cognac production traces back even further, with Samuel Beau initiating distillation practices in 1895. He recognized the potential of the property's rich, chalky soils and favorable climate, transforming a neglected vineyard into a thriving cognac estate.

Today, the estate spans approximately 120 hectares, all within the Grande Champagne Premier Cru area. The Beau family remains deeply involved in every aspect of production, from grape cultivation to distillation and aging, ensuring the preservation of traditional methods and the highest quality standards.

Paul Beau Cognac specializes in crafting aged expressions, with offerings such as VSOP, Vieille Reserve, and Hors d'Age. The Hors d'Age, for example, is an average of 30 years old, showcasing the depth and complexity achievable through prolonged aging. These cognacs are celebrated for their rich flavors, aromatic complexity, and smooth finishes, reflecting the family's dedication to their craft.

The house's commitment to excellence has earned it recognition among cognac enthusiasts and industry experts alike. Paul Beau Cognac continues to thrive, upholding its storied heritage while embracing modern techniques to produce spirits that honor tradition and delight the palate.
