Marancheville Cognac

Marancheville is a distinguished family-owned Cognac house established in 1950 by the Delacour family, located in the heart of the Cognac region in southwestern France. The house is renowned for producing exceptional cognacs that reflect a deep commitment to traditional craftsmanship and the unique characteristics of their terroir.

Situated in the Grande Champagne cru, the premier growth area of Cognac, Marancheville benefits from the region's limestone-rich soils and ideal climate conditions, which contribute to the production of elegant and aromatic eaux-de-vie. The family prides itself on adhering to ancient methods passed down through generations, ensuring that each cognac embodies authenticity and refinement.

The Marancheville portfolio includes several notable expressions:

- VSOP: Aged for a minimum of four years, this cognac offers a harmonious blend of floral and fruity notes, with a smooth and balanced palate. - 10 Year Old: Aged for a decade, this expression presents a rich complexity with flavors of dried fruits, spices, and a hint of oak, culminating in a long, satisfying finish. - XO: Aged for at least six years, the XO showcases deep, robust flavors with layers of dark chocolate, tobacco, and leather, reflecting the depth of the Grande Champagne terroir.

In addition to these, Marancheville offers limited editions such as L'Exemplaire N°5, a blend of cognacs distilled in the early 1980s, celebrated for its elegance and complexity. Another remarkable offering is the Lot 14-45, a unique blend of eaux-de-vie from the years 1914 and 1945, capturing a significant historical narrative within its aromatic profile. Marancheville remains a testament to the enduring legacy of the Delacour family, combining traditional methods with a passion for excellence. Their cognacs continue to offer enthusiasts a genuine taste of the Cognac region's rich heritage and exceptional craftsmanship.
