Maison Villevert is a distinguished French spirits producer founded in 2001 by Jean-Sébastien Robicquet. The company is named after the 16th-century Manoir de Villevert, located in Merpins near Cognac, which serves as its headquarters.
Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, an oenologist and master distiller, established Maison Villevert with the vision of creating innovative spirits that honor French tradition. In collaboration with Diageo, he developed Cîroc, a premium vodka made from French grapes, introduced in 2003. Building on this success, he launched G'Vine gin in 2006, crafted from grape liquor and vine flowers, offering a unique taste experience.
Expanding their portfolio, Maison Villevert introduced La Quintinye Vermouth Royal, a vermouth made with Pineau des Charentes and a blend of 37 plants. In 2017, the company ventured into Cognac production with the creation of "La Guilde du Cognac," a collection of single-estate cognacs reflecting the diverse terroirs of the region.
