Maison Dhiersat is a distinguished family-owned Cognac producer situated in Rouillac, within the Fins Bois region of France's Cognac appellation. Established in the 19th century, the estate has been nurtured through seven generations, with Nadine Dhiersat currently leading the tradition.
The Dhiersat family manages 50 hectares of vineyards, primarily cultivating Ugni Blanc grapes, renowned for their role in producing high-quality eaux-de-vie. Their portfolio includes a range of Cognacs—VS, VSOP, Napoléon, and XO—each reflecting the unique characteristics of the Fins Bois terroir. The aging process in Limousin oak barrels imparts a golden hue and complex flavors, with older Cognacs exhibiting notes of spice, licorice, and Corinthian raisins.
Beyond Cognac, Maison Dhiersat produces Pineau des Charentes and a variety of liqueurs under the "Epona" label. These liqueurs blend Cognac with fruits, offering fresh and flavorful options suitable for various occasions.
Visitors are welcomed at their distillery, where guided tours provide insights into the production process, from vineyard to bottle. The on-site shop offers the opportunity to purchase their products directly.
Maison Dhiersat continues to thrive, blending modern techniques with traditional methods to produce exceptional spirits that honor their rich legacy.
