L.V.O. "La Vie en Or" represents the perfect synthesis between the resolutely contemporary design of the DEAU decanter, the pure gold of its adornment, and the precious cognac it preserves. L.V.O. "La Vie en Or" is hand-dressed in 24-carat gold leaf by the Parisian goldsmith ARTHUS BERTRAND, following the tradition of the compagnons médaillers (master medal-makers).
An exceptional decanter, remarkably pure and understated, L.V.O. safeguards the secret of a rare, highly distinguished cuvée. The blend, made exclusively from very old Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, comes from the finest cognacs of the DEAU house, preserved in the stillness of an underground cellar carved into limestone.
L.V.O. develops a sumptuous bouquet and expresses a deep sensuality. Dressed in a beautiful amber robe, this exceptional cognac gradually reveals an impressive palette of superb scents. Beyond its powerful rancio — characteristic of very old cognacs — come aromas of ripe, stewed fruits, honey, pear, peach, figs, and bitter almonds. These are followed by notes of cinnamon, vanilla, blond tobacco, and rice powder.
This cognac, with its dense and complex structure, reveals a full, mellow, rich, and balanced palate. Power follows, along with an ample range of flavors and a complexity of aromas evoking Havana tobacco and licorice, with an aromatic persistence beyond compare.
The decanter rests in a white presentation case of subtle refinement. Set on its base, it becomes a true decorative object. L.V.O. "La Vie en Or" is intended for true connoisseurs and collectors drawn to aromatic complexity and the rarity of the bottle.
L.V.O. "La Vie en Or" — the taste of elegance and refinement.
