Ansac Cognac is a distinguished brand with a heritage dating back to 1847. Produced by Unicognac, one of France's leading Cognac houses, Ansac has built a reputation for crafting smooth, full-bodied cognacs that honor traditional methods. The distillery is situated in the Charente department of France, a region celebrated for its exceptional terroir conducive to viticulture.
The production process at Ansac begins with the careful selection of grapes from the Petite Champagne and Fins Bois regions, both renowned for producing high-quality eaux-de-vie. The distillation adheres to time-honored techniques, ensuring that the essence of the grapes is meticulously preserved. Following distillation, the eaux-de-vie are aged in French oak barrels, allowing them to develop complexity and depth over time.
